Sylvester Memorial Wellston Public Library

The mission of the Sylvester Memorial Wellston Public Library is to ensure free and accessible information services and library materials. The library promotes literacy, lifelong learning, civic and cultural education. Telefacsimile document transmission is available to area businesses, organizations and community members for a fee. The Wellston Public Library meeting room is available for community gatherings of civic, cultural, and educational natures, although it may not be used for private social functions. Currently, our library holds 31,546 books for your use. Please visit the library to browse our shelves and catalog to locate the book you desire. Books, magazines (except current issues), and audio tapes may be borrowed for two weeks, and may be renewed if no one else has requested the materials. Kid's Space, a storytime program for kids 18 months to grade 6 is provided as a service to the community.
